Ohana Pet Resort, located at 25 N Grove St. in Merritt Island, is a full-time family-owned resort and spa catering to the unique needs of discerning pet owners. With easy access to popular Central Florida attractions like the Port Canaveral Cruise Ships, Orlando, NASA Space Center, Disney, and nearby beaches, Ohana provides exceptional care and pampering for your furry family members. Staffed by an experienced and enthusiastic team, Ohana can accommodate up to 40-80+ dogs at a time, ensuring a healthy, vibrant environment for your pets.

Pet Boarding
We offer a comfortable and safe place for your pet to stay while you're away. Our experienced staff will treat your pet like family and ensure they receive the best care possible. We welcome dogs, cats, birds, and more.
All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations (rabies, distemper, and Bordetella). No dogs are permitted without up-to-date vaccinations! If your dog has recently visited the vet, we recommend no boarding or daycare for 5-7 days after the visit (dogs can easily pick up airborne diseases at the vet). Remember that just like flu vaccines in humans, kennel cough or flu vaccines in dogs are never 100% effective. Although rare, dogs can catch airborne diseases at any facility, including ours!
Reservations are required for boarding services.
Doggy Daycare
Let your dog socialize and play with other dogs in our supervised doggy daycare. Our facility is designed to provide your furry friend with a safe and fun environment.

- NO retractable leashes
- If you are aware that your pet is leash reactive, we kindly request that you ensure the lobby is clear of people and dogs before entering with your pet. We are not suggesting your pet is aggressive; we are acknowledging that some dogs react more strongly to stimuli while on a leash with their owners. This is a safety precaution to secure a welcoming environment for all our guests.
- We understand that, despite taking all necessary safety precautions and maintaining control of your dog, accidents can still occur. If your dog were to bite someone while entering or leaving our facility, we kindly ask that you handle it with respect, working directly with the individual involved to reach a resolution. Please be aware that our facility is not responsible for such incidents. We hope that you and the affected individual can exchange necessary documentation and information without requiring our involvement.

New pets will be individually evaluated and introduced slowly into the community. Please download the NEW PET FORM below. You may drop off your new pet form at the office or FAX at (321) 453-0049.
To make onboarding faster, please email vaccine records to ohanapetresort@yahoo.com or ask your veterinarian to send them. Note: Dogs MUST be spayed or neutered by 12 months of age for daycare or boarding.

Boarding Drop Off Hours
Monday through Friday: 7:00AM until 10:00AM.
Saturday: 8:00AM until 10:AM.
Sunday: There are no drop offs on Sunday.
*Excludes holidays
Boarding Pick Up Hours
Monday through Friday: Pick up for boarding is any time after 1:00PM until 6:00PM.
Saturday: 1:00PM until 5:00PM.
Sunday: 4:00PM until 5:00PM. Note: There is a one-time $30 fee for Sunday pick-ups,
which is applied per family and not per individual pet.

- Boarding charges will be by the day. Daycare is included, there are no hidden fees or late check out fees.
- Discount baths can be provided if your pet is boarding 3 or more days. Ask for pricing at check in.
- Discount for boarding if you have multiple pets.
- Every 8th consecutive night if free.
- Payment is due at pick up.
- If you plan on someone else picking up your pet we require the full prepayment for their stay.
- We accept payment via cash, check, debit, Tap, and credit card (no extra fee applied).
DAycare Hours
Daycare Drop Off Hours
Drop off for daycare is as early as 7:00AM Monday through Friday and Saturdays at 8:00AM. The latest drop off is by 10:00AM.
Daycare Pick Up Hours
- Monday through Thursday: Any time after 1:00PM until 6:00PM.
- Friday: Any time after 1:00PM until 5:30PM.
- Saturdays: Any time after 1:00PM until 4:30PM.
Sundays
There is no daycare on Sunday.
Bath and Nail Trims
Every 3rd Wednesday of the month excluding holidays get $10 off on baths (by appointment only)!
We do not provide full grooming at this time, but we can provide baths, nail trims, and tidy ups (fanny and pawpad trims) if applicable. There may be a price difference if needing tidy ups, just ask at check in.
- Baths start at $45. Price varies by breed, size, temperament, and the condition of your pet's coat.
- Nail trims start at $20. Price varies by temperament and condition of your pets nails.
- All baths include nail trims and ear cleaning.
